Today we got our Duffy books here is the back of the book ‘Treasures Of The Maya: I was having a relaxing Sunday when I got a strange email. My sister, Thea, had gone on a secret mission, and she needed help! while trying to protect a great treasure, she went missing. Great Gouda, I had to find her! could I solve the Mystery and find Thea before it was to late?’

I like mystery books because they always leave you on  cliffhanger every chapter. Would you like this book?

Last term we went swimming at My favourite bit was in the deep pool and jumping of the side of the pool. Here is a photo of me.

I learnt that you need to let other people in your games at play times.  I am going to let people who are not so nice to me try and let them play with me. How are you going to show acceptance this week?

On Friday the senior school had cross country trails. I ran 2nd laps around the course. I felt great. I came 2 place.

This week our virtue is respecting ourselves. This means we take care of our selves by having enough sleep every night. One example of this is sleeping 8 hours a night each day. I’m going to practice this virtue by make sure you go to bed early. How would you practice this?

I am going to tell you about the term.

There was top team. I was with the Chanel people. For one of the challenges we had to fill a pipe with holes full of water.

Later we went to school camp with Year 6. First we did a long walk from Governors Bay to Living Springs. Then when we got there I played Cricket with Nikau, Jack, Louie and Koby. I was in bat first with Jack. Then we put up our tents. I was in a tent with Jack. We also played tag but that was when I broke the tent so we had to move to another tent. We had a delicious curry for dinner with Chocolate Mouse and Rainbow ice-cream.
